The Essentials by Ellen October 2019 Release is here! YAAAASSSSSS!!! •fist pump•

And we are hopping with lots of eye candy to spark some creative magic!

Here are a few samples to hopefully inspire:

Big Foot, Sasquatch or Yeti—makes no difference when you’re a legend! •wink•

Inside, it reads “And that is all.” (also from Totally Random Sayings Volume 3 Stamp Set by Julie Ebersole) . This is a great set for mixing and matching with lots of different images—the typeset is modern with sassy undertones, but not overly formal or stuffy. I like that in a sentiment set. How ‘bout you?

The voices in my head have a lot to say . . . Vol. 2 is more quirk, more sass, more me. . . •chinkle•

This is one of my most favorite ways to use those speech bubble dies . . .

Non-breakable FELT ornaments for the Holiday WIN!!! YASSSSSS!!! #givemeallthefelt . These two die sets were actually designed by Heather Meeson—the ornaments turned out so CUUUUUTE!!! I can’t even . . .

I’ll be sharing more samples soon. Hope you’ll come back. Meantime, here’s the scoop!

HARD CANDY CHRISTMAS

Brandi’s Hard Candy Christmas set is so much fun for making shaker cards! •fist pump•

I stamped a ton of the candy in yellows, greens and pinks and then die cut them so I’d have lots at the ready to use as filler and embellishment both. They’re so cute mixed in with some sparkly sequins!

I used double layers of foam tape so things could shake around freely and was careful not to “over-stuff” the fillers. Gosh, I actually think this is one of the prettiest—and sweetest, LOL!—holiday cards I’ve ever made!

The candies adorning the front of the card were garnished with Diamond Stickles. HAH! Don’t let the culinary terms fool ya’, tho—this is strictly EYE candy. •wink•

Welcome to the September EBE Release Hop!

So. I KNOW. I KNOW Dino-mite Christmas is, in fact, a holiday themed DINOSAUR set, but I just could not resist having “Godzilla” stomp into the city with birthday wishes. It just cracks me up!!! Did you ever watch Godzilla movies when you were a kid?

I had to incorporate Brandi’s Backyard Party set for the greetings and cake. Godzilla’s flaming breath is the latté steam from A Breve Note. When everything just falls into place like this, ya’ gotta run with it. Am I right?!

Inside, the card reads, “You party animal” (also from the Backyard Party set). I mean, seriously . . . •chinkle•

My granddaughter (almost 7 yrs. old) love dinosaurs and to my surprise, can identify/name a number of different types—she knows more than I do!

HOP ROSTER:

YOU'RE MY BOO

CLEAN AND SIMPLE MONDO AMARYLLIS

mondoamaryllis_001-1.JPG

Modern, clean AND easy to reproduce? Yes, please! Stamp flowers in a pretty mid-tone pink, white emboss greeting onto scraps of card stock that look pretty together, trim and pop them up onto the card front. •BOOM•

NOTE: I will say this photo is a tad deceptive—I really had a hard time shooting it without overexposing it—I had to slip a quarter sheet of that deep pink (actually more of a deep pink red color) underneath it for more contrast. In reality, that color of paper is a tad more pink and not quite as deep as the photo shows.

Anyhoo, I was so stoked over how this turned out, I bet it would look awesome in a variety of color combos—time to dive into the scrap bin! (wink)

Have a fab day!
