Because the above are still shots, you may not realize it, but in these samples ↑ ↑ you can make the hula girl’s skirt TILT to and fro or things like the palm trees ROCK back and forth using the Tilt N’ Rock Die Set EEP!!!

This serene beauty from the set reminds me of a trip the Mister and I took over 35 years ago—our one and only trip (so far) to Hawaii. This needs to be rectified because I’d really love to go again, but I get SO crabby in hot climates . . . When I was making this design, I just loved how the “cool” color scheme looked so calming and inviting, with just the little pops of yellow here and there.

Thank you for taking a moment to stop by my little place here, out of what I’m sure is a busy summer season! July is our family’s travel month, so we’ve been on the go, here and there and the weather has been AMAZING (‘cept for that wretched heat wave we had a few weeks back!)

SIMPLE INLAID DIE CUTTING

Hot diggity dog, it’s Friday! I know, another Clever Sausage card. And pun. But, seriously, how can you not chuckle over this one?

After I die cut a circle, I split it with a Landscapes die (the grass), and ink blended the sky and the lawn. My secret weapon for holding the the two pieces together: Scotch tape on the back. BOOM! And, then I just 3D mounted the whole shebang onto a square card.

Watercolored all the stamped images, then die cut ‘em; trimmed the hot dot bun’s foreground away so I could mount the back onto the other side of the dog, and 3D mount the bun on his front side.

The ketchup squiggle? It’s part of the coordinating die set. I wonder if folks noticed that. Watercolored a tomato red color swatch onto a scrap of watercolor paper and then die cut it out. Finishing touch after assembling the whole card was some glossy accents. Cuz ketchup is always enticingly glossy and yummy looking, right?! Heh, heh, heh!

Welcome to the September EBE Release Hop!

So. I KNOW. I KNOW Dino-mite Christmas is, in fact, a holiday themed DINOSAUR set, but I just could not resist having “Godzilla” stomp into the city with birthday wishes. It just cracks me up!!! Did you ever watch Godzilla movies when you were a kid?

I had to incorporate Brandi’s Backyard Party set for the greetings and cake. Godzilla’s flaming breath is the latté steam from A Breve Note. When everything just falls into place like this, ya’ gotta run with it. Am I right?!

My granddaughter (almost 7 yrs. old) love dinosaurs and to my surprise, can identify/name a number of different types—she knows more than I do!
