PARTY ROCK

So.  I've had this idea in my head for the.longest.time.  The most challenging part was getting a "granite"-like texture on that solid blob.  I tried a LOT of different things, but in the end, I found just wadding up a paper napkin and dabbing it lightly against the inked up stamp was all I needed to create the effect.  *BOOYAH!*

Hand drew the facial features and used a fresh new pencil eraser to make the cheeks (2nd generation impression ).

The little paint stroke "flicks" in the Abstract Paint Strokes set reminded me of tufts of grass so I went with it.  Borrowed the hat and cupcake from the Bear Ware set.  Sentiment was computer generated, trimmed out and popped up.

Tropical Tangerine Stickles are apparently headed for retirement, which is a crying shame, IMHO... It really helps set off the whole thing--it actually appears more neon in real life than is showing on screen here, which I happen to LOVE about that particular color of Stickles.

I don't always think out-of-the-box, but when I do...

I drink Dos Equis.

KIDDING.  I AM KIDDING YOU.

I hate beer.

P.S.  If you enjoy my blog posts and weren't already aware, I'm starting to offer online workshops here on my website and the first one is listed HERE in my shop.  I'm looking forward to producing more! :)
